Tom Reikman
Senior Vice-President and Chief Distribution Officer

Tom drives our broker distribution strategy across Canada, which includes leading the corporate marketing, corporate communications, and national sales and distribution teams to identify growth and innovation opportunities focused on strengthening and expanding the broker business. For Tom, it’s all about taking our combined experience and knowledge to a whole new level of success.

Tom holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from Western University. He’s a Chartered Insurance Professional, and he has served several years on the Governing Council of the Insurance Institute of Ontario, including in the role of President.

Known as our road warrior, Tom is always on the go, building strong relationships with our broker partners, employees, and customers across Canada. With over 25 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within insurance, including underwriting, marketing, sales, claims, and operations management, Tom attributes his drive and enthusiasm to having the opportunity to work with a talented group of teammates as we grow Economical into the leading Canadian P&C insurer of the future.
