Grandview Children’s Centre is an independently operated not-for-profit organization. They are the only Children’s Treatment Centre in Durham Region providing specialized programs, outpatient clinical treatment, and support to thousands of children and youth with special needs and their families.
Grandview offers a variety of programs and services:
Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Language, Pathology, Ontario Autism Program, Medical Services, Social Work Services, Audiology, Preschool Outreach Program, Specialized Clinics, Orthopaedics, Orthotics and Muscle Tone, Therapeutic Recreation, and more…
The Humane Society of Durham Region was incorporated in 1988 under the name Durham Animal Welfare. They then became an independent operating affiliate of the Ontario S.P.C.A. under the new name Humane Society of Durham Region (HSDR).
Their mission is to provide compassionate care for abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in our community while they await their new beginning in life.
